Re: Chiclana,Conil & san lucar
Hola, Conil is a white seaside village and probably of more interest than the centre of Chiclana although there are many interesting churches especially Santa Ana on top of the hill. You may find Medina Sidonia of interest but be warned, it is a typical mountain top village and you climb up or down ...

I reckon with all the negative reports in the British newspapers, it is complete fiction. I don't know but it just doesn't sound right

Hola
On YouTube there is "E.V.man" who every week has a slot about electric vehicles. I watched one about having solar panels on the roof and bonnet of a car - roughly three days to charge it for four hours running of a small electric car

Re: Leaving our house to my son
My late husband & I jointly owned our casa (holiday home, non-resident. He wanted it to go to his daughters from a previous marriage, but for me to have use of it, after he died (& I still owned half). So, in Spain there is (& I assume still is) a usufruct (I think I have this right) wh...

Hola,
Friends of mine used a suggestion from their gestor to transfer the ownership of their house to their son. To do it while living saved an amount of money.
You need proper professional advice to go down this route

Re: Post Brexit Business Idea
Hola,
I'd say it is too early for a marriage scheme to work; a few years down the line then maybe. There is a market for British men to go abroad and get a Philippine etc. wife - but whether the business is viable, who knows.

Re: non resident car owners
Hola
A non-resident either has to own a property or have a rental contract to be able to own a car in Spain. the rules were changed in 2005 from memory (when I helped import hundreds of cars).
Re-registering a car is therefore possible

Hola
The article is scaremongering; my solicitor has been helping both Americans and Canadians with this “problem” that will now affect UK buyers. In reality it simply adds about two months to the buying process and is not a real problem in most cases.

For the speed limit change, it will not come into force until May to allow signs to be changed. And the speed limit may not be exceeded at any time.

Re: Non-Resident 90 days in a rolling 180?
Hola The calculation is very simple - today is day 180 and yesterday 179. Count the days you have been in the Schengen area in the past 179 days. If the number of days in the last 180 days is less than 90, you are OK if it is greater than 94 you will be banned for one year. I will add that Tomorrow ...
