Re: Britain Leaving EEC - discuss!

The man was a TORY councillor when he first made that claim! Where was the outrage then?
He has been suspended from UKIP - not for his PERSONAL views, (odd though they may be) but because he, despite requests to desist, used his status AS A UKIP COUNCILLOR to repeat them.
Faux outrage still lives!

Re: Britain Leaving EEC - discuss!

I think, despite some claims by unrealistic enthusiasts, most UKIP members realise, certainly in the UK with its first past the post voting system, that we won't be IN power. We will probably do quite well in the EU elections in May. If so, it is hoped that waverers will realise that if you vote UKI...

Re: Britain Leaving EEC - discuss!

As a card carrying member and activist for UKIP, I cannot see any difference between Labour, LibDems or Tories. (Apart from sex scandals!) None want a referendum: none trust the British people. As far as the EU budget is concerned the UK sends the EU £53 million per day! Yes - some of it returns as ...

Re: Kindle

Lots of free .mobi (Kindle format) files on torrents, (TPB for instance) plus .epub. Convert with free app -Calibre eBook manager.
I don't buy ebooks from Amazon, but have a decent number of titles to read, just not current best sellers usually.

@MikeM ...and your gratuitous insults summarise your position quite adequately, i.e. you have no arguments save blind antipathy to those with whom you disagree.

Re: On the TV at last

I've just seen the P.E.B. on-line, as a preview for members.
Nigel Farage has equal airtime with a whole cross-section of ordinary people from all walks of life.
"My Britain" is the theme and what these ordinary, common-sense, folk want for their country and its future.

Thank god most of Britain see it for what it is,
Yes - exactly. That is why our membership is growing by leaps and bounds while LibLabCon's is declining!

Re: On the TV at last

Nigel Farage is a good speaker, but there are a few others, not so charismatic, but equally good!
Anyway, UKIP is not full of professional career politicians, like all the other!
*I'm standing for UKIP in the upcoming County Council elections!* (Won't win in our area, but it's a start!)

Re: Are you thinking of selling up !

We returned to the UK after over 10 very happy years in Spain.
We do not regret our return to "home" one iota.
We miss our friends and the sun, but nothing else.
We are glad to be out of the eurozone, too!
