Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax

Beachcomber wrote: Wed Jan 20, 2021 4:17 pm It is not that the rules have changed. It is going up because fiscal residents of the United Kingdom are no longer fiscal residents of an EU member state.
So I guess some people I know with Irish passports, but resident / tax payers in the UK, would still need to pay the 24%.

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax

Bit early to be thinking about paying this yet, and hopefully this year, I will be able to present the forms to the bank myself.

However, is the 19% element good for 2020 ?

Re: Betting for Fun

Reminds me of the old joke... Three Jewish bookmakers are coming home from a race meeting. Crossing a road, one gets knocked down and killed by a car. One of the other two said, I know his wife better than you, I will tell her the sad news. He knocks at the door, the wife answers it. He says " ...

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax

Hi, I have been paying my non resident Tax each year through an agency. However their fees are quite high and I was thinking of completing it myself and taking it to the bank to pay when we are next over in Spain in December. I have been looking online for the right form but I cannot find the type ...

Actually have now re-booked with Easyjet for October again, this time Gatwick to Seville... However, would not be surprised, if somewhere down the line, I again get a cancellation email. As the Chinese say, "may you live in interesting times".... Seems they started the whole business ( re...

Re: Easyjet

Was reading today about all these extra flights Easyjet were putting on. However, I have had a flight to Jerez mid September cancelled. I was able to re-book early October, but again had an email yesterday saying again the flight was cancelled. Now it may be, that they are pulling flights to Jerez o...

Other way around as it were...

I will be travelling to Spain. Again I take it, it should only be completed 48 hours before travel from UK to Spain ?

Re: Travel to the UK

Hope to travel to Spain in September ( if we are not all in lockdown again ).

Can I complete the form as soon as I book flights, or has it to be just before I leave ?

Anyway,

Perhaps it is time Van Morrison re-released "Who was that masked man"... ( probably not Donald Trump ! )

Re: Masks to be mandatory from next week in Andalucia

“ One of the biggest critics of mask is Donald Trump and has now started to wear one.” Sadly he is using the wrong sort, as his current one lets him breathe! Donald Trump did say recently that he does not mind wearing a mask, as he is of the opinion, it makes him look like the "Lone Ranger&quo...

Costs 70p weekdays. I have been buying it for a neighbour during these strange times. £1.10 Saturday ( she gets the Mail Sunday, £1.80 )

Of course, I get a proper newspaper, the Telegraph.
