In our 1st house we bought and installed a "Nordica" from Bronpi, and it was brilliant. We moved recently to a house with an insert woodburner, and I agree- not as good as the freestanding ones. We have now been and bought another Nordica and its installed and working brilliantly! Love it! Interseti...

Swimming Pool

Hi All We are at the beginning of the process to build a pool. We have had a few quotes, but worryingly the builders have all given us a price with "permission" included. When we have delved into this further, it seems they mean, by permission, a project license. I was led to believe that in order t...

Try premier movers- fantastic & cheap. We used them to come over here, and we have recommended them since with success. They have offices both in Malaga and the UK.
Definatley worth sending them a mail.

Spanish lad, sorry to be a pain- you should be charging. Could you give us an idea of how much it would cost to change over a 2000 "W" Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec petrol onto Spanish plates please. Many Thanks

Transporting Car back to UK

Hi all Wondering if anyone can let me knnow any websites or numbers of companies that will transport a UK reg car back to the UK for us. peteroldracer: We have never been to Gibralter so it was an innocent question!!! We are not trying to break the law or bend the rules- infact quite the opposite! I find it hard to understand why some people on this forum cannot just answer a question, but have to turn it into some sort of argument, ...

Also what other taxes are involved please? I have tried reading up on it, and asked several people including ou...

Rookie- I completely agree. She asked for advice not on your opinions of whether or not she should make the move- that she can decide for herself. The more I read on A.com the more negative I feel about the whole forum. I hardly visit it these days, because of all the negativity & condescending atti...

San Marcos

Hi Does anyone know the relevance of El dia de San marcos please? It was on the 28th April, was a holiday, and lots of the Spanish from our village went camping to the lake and ate Paella. The Spanish family across the road also brought a basket full of goodies for our 2 year old. It had sweets and ...

Iznajar lake- the local say not to swim in it at this time of year(as if you could anway- its freezing here!), and it is a bit scummy around the edges. However later in the year when the olives are out of mind all the locals swim in it, and it is much cleaner. I wouldn't mind my little one swimming ...
