Re: 3% retention tax
All our documentation was correct,we had notification of how much they were going to steal within days but it still took 8 months to pay me back. Still,I'm happy and just thankful I got paid out at all. Got one last trip in the New Year to close 2 bank accounts down in person (I don't trust them to ...

Re: 3% retention tax
Just as a matter of interest ,if anyone is wondering how long repayment takes,I sold my property in early March and the Spanish government have reimbursed the balance of my 3% retention today.
So from the day of sale completion to repayment it was a little shy of 8 months.

Re: Leaving Andalucia....
Does anyone have any experience on how long it takes the Spanish authorities to return the 3% retention ,or what remains of it? I sold in March. The selling process was very quick, our English estate agent was great as was our Spanish lawyer. But why,oh why, does it take so long to get a final electri...

Re: Stay in SPAIN or RETURN to Un-United Kingdom ?.Remain in Spain!!!
Patricia ,you regret the demise of the corner shop in the Uk but this is a generalisation. You say you walk in Bushey Park? Then you must know that Teddington, where I live, has a thriving High St full of independent shops. Sure it has its fair share of estate agents, real estate is sky high because pe...

Outlook printing received e mail only not my replies
I hope Enrique can help.
Can't find the answer.
Since they've mucked about with Outlook again I can't seem to print a received e mail without printing my replies and all the other e mails on the same subject.
How do I isolate just one email rather than print the whole lot?
Thank you.

Re: Aztec Club,Riviera del Sol
No. It was a "country" club type thing albeit in an urbanisation, swimming pool, tennis courts, restaurant, gym, hairdresser etc. Bought maybe a couple of years ago by ,I believe,an Australian who wanted to turn it into an internationally famous tennis club. Loads of brand new clay courts buil...

Aztec Club,Riviera del Sol
Does anyone know if the Aztec Club on Riviera del Sol,between Miraflores and Calahonda has re-opened.
It had been closed for refurbishment for some time and mega money was being spent upgrading it by the new owners.
I've googled but can only find people asking the same question.
Many thanks.
