Re: Positive health news
Article published one minute into April fools day. I wonder if that's anything to take into account. Although my mother drank two (large) glasses of red wine every night for 35 years while she lived in Spain and only had reading glasses................. so maybe that validates it

Re: The sweet sounds of someone being murdered in alhaurin campo !!
In my parents time in rural Ireland people would talk about hearing a "Banshee crying". It was as you have found out a fox looking for sex ! I've heard the same and have tried to keep the dog quiet.

Of course you lads could do a family tree search and see if Granny was Irish (or French) and then apply for an EU passport.

Brexit & 90 rule.
Serious question. Are UK residents in theory only meant to stay for a maximum of 90 days in Spain ? So if you wanted to spend five months in your holiday home has this legal ?

Re: Benamara/Benavista Footbridge over A7 Highway
I was twent meters from it two years ago when it was struck by a low loader with a very large excavator on it. The chap I was with is from Belfast and he ducked as he thought it was a bomb going off. The repair was carried out properly and it's good again. I can't see Marbella or Estepona wanting to...

Re: Benamara/Benavista Footbridge over A7 Highway
Hi David, You are correct, the lift is in the commercial center and nothing to do with the bridge. Why are the ex pat group trying to find out who's responsible for the bridge ? Is the issue that it's not wheelchair / pram friendly ? The next bridge 400 m towards Estepona is completely ramped and us...

This is the footbridge at Neli G's restaurant ? There's no lift on it unless you mean the lift in the commercial center ?

San Pedro to Estepona . . . Restrictions ? ?
I can't find anything online so I'm curious to hear from anyone in the Parish
. What's happening there ? What's the R number like ? No intention of travelling until I've had vaccine. It's been over a year since I've been to my place but I'll have to wait longer.

I thought that I read on a bike forum that WIld camping is either seriously frowned upon by Spanish Police or it's illegal. But I'm open to correction.

As soon as Ireland and Spain open up I'll be on the second flight out of here. Mask and hand sanitiser. Life goes on.

I think this virus will teach us to live with the unknown, the uncertain, the unfamiliar, the unpredictable ... My daughter is a nurse and today said that now at least we are prepared for a chemical attack or a pandemic caused by chemical warfare. Sobering thought indeed. Ireland today had less tha...

Energy certificates baffle me too; they're about as pointless as the emissions figures for a diesel VW, but I believe they're EU law. Maybe they'll be dispensed of in the UK soon :silent: What a silly comment. Do you think that a post brexit UK will not be subject to global warming and it's effects...
