Thanks Shukran. The BA flight (operated by GB Airways) was direct from Gatwick. Clearly the best way to travel. Iberia have always had the Madrid-Seville route throughout the year. Whether the DIRECT route from Gatwick to Seville will ever be restored - goodness only knows.

Shukran- you say that you know that IBERIA flies Gatwick to Seville in November but don't you mean that this is an indirect flight via Madrid. ? Or do you know something we don't? You can fly direct from heathrow to Seville using IBERIA.

Thomas Osborne arrived in Cádiz from Devon in 1781. Thomas worked in the sherry business and collaborated with James Duff who was the British consul in Cádiz. Duff lived from 1734 until his death in El Puerto de Santa Maria in 1815. He is actually buried at Gibraltar. Not sure about Thomas. The Osbo...

Looking at the same website, there is a branch in Antequera? Is this town the nearest or do you visit other towns? The branch is at 43 INFANTE DON FERNANDO and this should open a map centred on this branch:

Re: car rental full tank con

I was furious last time I rented a car through Carjet. I was put with Europa gold car who cahrged me 50E for a full tank. I almost ran out of fuel during my stay and only just got to a station. Guess what a full tank was? 27E. Plus they make money on fuel left in the tank. This is a con and we shou...

CATAIR low cost airline

Does anyone know the full story about CATAIR? I heard that Iberia are creating a low cost airline in order to follow the competition such as Vueling and of course Easyjet/Ryanair. The start of the new airline is planned for October, initially based in Barcelona, and in 2 years time they hope to have...

The only time I wouldn't suggest using the peage is at night if unaccompanied. Just out of interest, has there been a history of problems for unaccompanied drivers on this road at night ? I used it recently and was able to cover the distance between Malaga and San Roque in next to no time at night ...
