Re: Moving to UK-
Well we have completed our move back to Scotland. House sold and money in our UK account. Now all we have to do is find a house. Bye bye to the Forum and thank you for the help I got over the last few years.

Re: ITV Sticker
It tells you on the ITV certificate exactly where to put it. Top right and remove previous stickers. A friend of mine was fined €50 for having 5 previous stickers in a row. I don't think it was anything to do with obstructing view as they were down the far right of the screen it was more to do with ...

Sounds great. Could we have a bit more detail in how you do it and hold it all together? Unfortunately the purists will be along soon telling us how bad it is for us!

Re: Buying a 2nd hand moped
I saw mine on a car sales forecourt and had a test drive and bought it. It was 2 years old with 2,000 kms on the clock and I paid 1,800 euros for it. 10 years later still driving it daily. I've had to replace the carburettor, 2 new starter rings and a new drive clutch. But I've had a lot of use out ...

Re: Ryanair Flights & Entering Passport Information
With Ryanair part of you your Passport number is included on the boarding pass. They started this is 2016. It's in the yellow band on the top right and is preceded with a P, the first two numbers, a hypen, then the last four numbers. However this only appears on the paper copy on not on the mobile a...

Re: Tent on rustic land
The problem with asking the Town Hall is if you get someone on a bad day, or even a good day, they may just say no without really knowing what it is you want to do. Just put it up and if your local police lady comes calling apologise and take it down!

Re: Tent on rustic land
Why would it not be a serious post? Yurts can be pretty big. A friend of mine put one up and did not apply for permission as it's moveable. As long as it is on your land, not visually affecting your neighbours and you're not holding an illegal Rave, then I think you'll be okay!

Re: Intelsat I907 reception problem
If I'm not mistaken, did SatandPCman not say, a long time ago, that the satalite had run out of fuel and no further positional changes could be made and eventually it may go off line permanently. That was the reason I have avoided using it!.

Re: Recommendation for insuring a motorbike?
I'm with Linea Directa. If you have full bike licence you can ride a 125 cc anywhere! OK thanks. I read a few bad comments about Linea Directa but could just be the odd bad experience. Just to give you a good experience with Linea Directa. I parked up my 250 cc Scooter at Malaga airport, opposite t...

Re: car hire excess insurance
I have excess insurance but I hired a car from Firefly recently and they refused to recognise it. They're was no compromise, I left 1,500 Euro deposit, I took out their insurance or no car. I am sure if I had an accident I would get my deposit back from the excess insurance but it would involve hass...
