Re: carrowcrin
I'm in the "sin bin" again though i must admit to using a seriously bad word. It originally got censored but i edited it to make it look better and then the whole post was deleted. This time however i got no empty email or private message advising me of my "non politically correct&quo...

Re: Catastral Re evaluation?
The last time i was over i was comparing notes with a friend as we both did projects at around the same time, the reason it came up is that he was told that houses were being inspected to see if they matched what town hall records had and if not back payment for 5 years would need to be paid. He sai...

PM probably best option or you may end up handcuffed to me..luckyjim wrote:I hope that this is allowed. My recommendation(don't know where you live) would be Gabinete Mendez in Velez Malaga. Very efficient, most speak perfect English. Don't know if I am allowed to give telephone number so won't. Try them.

Re: Painting kitchen cabinets
i am thinking if you got tile paint that if you buy an expensive purdy paintbrush you may be able to do yourself or ask a professional painter to do, if your just doing the doors it probably easier to remove and paint while off.

First of all i want to thank costakid for bringing this up as i was gone. There is no slagging match for me but i seen the original post and thought it was a compliment to the forum that a mass media organization would "come to us" for information. Since this is an information service (me...

It was touting for people to sign up to appear on the C4 Place in the Sun programme.. These posts are spammed all over the expat forums on a regular basis and are usually removed immediately. If anyone feels that they have missed a huge opportunity to become a reality TV star, then they can easily ...

Personally i did not see any harm in it as any emails would not be travelling through the forum so what harm was it doing. I watch quite a few of these type of programmes to see idiots like myself who want to "live the dream" I want to start a campaign to "put it back up" Now the...

I do not know Malaga too well when driving so what i usually do is put the place or address (if i have it) into the satnav, i will then drive to this point and then search for a parking as i fin...

spartacus, sorry if i have kinda sidetracked your topic but this is info i really needed and did not know where to look so thanks to this post i am pretty well up to speed. Re: Turning The Corner - Feeling on the ground
Thanks for all the info. The licence was got for the renovation and i assumed that this is registered in the town hall and that everything would automatically follow on and it may have as the IBI did increase on the property around the time of the project which in assume means the town hall have upd...

Re: Turning The Corner - Feeling on the ground
Also, Carrowcrin you can access the land registry and check the plot you are trying for. Make sure all of the land relates to your property. There are some pointers on one of the discussions on You and the Law in Spain. i do not have land just a town house, i only became aware of this document rece...

Re: Turning The Corner - Feeling on the ground

You need to see at the very least: 1.- A 'nota simple' (extract from the property registry). 2.- An extract from Catastro. 3.- The original building project and l...
