Re: Alternative to Scalibor

Diatomaceous earth is great stuff and if you put some in their food it also kills internal parasites such as worms. As it is a mechanical killer, it is not something that parasites can build resistance to. I am interested in knowing more about the above as my dog also had a reaction to the scalibor...

Re: Brittany ferries new economy service

Well I have booked it today but we don't go until July.

I emailed them about a month ago asking if there was any chance they might release some more pet friendly cabins and they said no but to keep checking back for any cancellations. Then fortunately I saw your post. Thanks again.

Re: Brittany ferries new economy service

Thanks for posting this information. I thought I'd missed the boat (haha) on a pet friendly cabin this year and was resigned to driving through France but now we are going to book on this new economy crossing today hopefully

Community CCTV

Following several incidents of vandalism on our complex, the latest being of a racist nature, some owners would like CCTV to be installed on the parking area of our complex. Our administrators advised a couple of years ago that any system would have to be monitored by a third party company who would...

This link takes you to the calendar of when bills are due http://www.prpmalaga.es/web/calendarfisc/calendare.html I don't know for sure but I would imagine IBI bills will be online on the dates shown in red. They are usually only available for a short time and I always look online around June/July t...

Re: IBI Query

You can get your IBI bill online by following the instructions below. IMPORTANT - the bill is not available all year round. Last year I accessed mine in mid June, so you have to wait till then to do this. Click here https://www.prpmalaga.es/web/cartapag2/" Type in your matricula number from old IBI ...

Re: Unpaid community fees - Is there anything we can do?

Also our Administrators advised us last year that their had been a change in the Law recently. At one time the Banks were first in line to get money when a property was repossessed and then sold. Now, if you have filled in the correct paper work, the community is first in line. Make sure at every AG...

Re: Unpaid community fees - Is there anything we can do?

I'd close the pool on the weeks your Spanish friend comes. Tell him the pumps gone and the community can't afford to replace it due to bad debtors. Make sure you register the debtors in the Courts EVERY year and eventually you should get the money. You can increase community fees by 35% and then giv...

Re: Advantix

Just letting you know that the scalibor collar did cause some irritation even though I left it out of the packed prior to putting it on my dog. I suspect this might be because he was very sensitive at the time due to the reaction to the Advantix - I might be wrong but a couple of years ago he did ha...

Re: Can anyone identify this place

Well I couldn't find anything matching you pictures with san pedro y san pablo so I got to wondering if there were any other saints that sort of go together. I did an image google search for 'san y san'. The first picture gave me the clue. Then I typed in iglesia de san cosme y san damien, scrolled ...

Re: Can anyone identify this place

There are two statues above the entrance to the Church. Most churches only have one. I'm guessing the church could be san pedro and san pablo (st peter & St paul) ???? Maybe if you google this in the areas you may have visited you could find it. Good luck.

Advantix

We are looking forward to bringing our dog to Spain this year. He has his pet passport etc. My vet prescribed Advantix and I put it on the dog as instructed on Tuesday night. He has had a very bad reaction to it - he became very anxious, shaking, panting heavily, not moving, itching everywhere so we...
