Re: Covid Vaccinations Spain

The details of the vaccinations appear on the Click Salud site within 24 hours and can be downloaded if you have a digital certificate. Sid Just wondering how people like us, ie only having private health care, no sip number or cards will be able to obtain proof? We had our 1st jabs after asking to...

Further to my earlier post we had our 1st jabs this morning, no problems without having a public health card and were told our 2nd dose will be on 8th July.

Re: Covid Vaccinations Spain

Just a quick question to those of you who have had a jab. Did you have to present your health card? The reason I ask is that as we only have private health cover we registered at our health just for the vaccs but were not given any temp sip cards. We both received a phone call this morning with appo...

Re: New restrictions extended??

It was obvious the figures were going to shoot up after Easter. You only had to see the packed together queues on tv outside the churches, thousands of people clamouring to get a look at the plaster dolls. They may as well have let them hold the parades. There was even the smarmy, smiling Juanra Mor...

Re: Car Finance V Lump Sum

It's easy enough to work out. How much a month x How many years?
I'll guarantee the final amount will be more than €15,500. The dealer will always push for the finance option as he will receive a nice bung in commission from the finance company.

Re: Vaccinations if not on Health System

Yes private insurance cards, we are not entitled to free public health cover.
Not sure whether she just needed proof that we would not be requiring any other medical treatment, or they are hoping to claim back the cost of the vaccinations?

Re: Vaccinations if not on Health System

Just come back from our health cent here in Sevilla province and had no trouble at all in being added to the register for our jabs, we were in and out in 5mins. The lady on the desk only wanted our TIE cards, health insurance cards & mobile numbers, she entered our details and told us we would b...

Re: IF YOU ARE PROLIFIC CRIMINAL WHY HAVE A TATTOO?

My wife worked in an unemployment office many years ago and I remember her telling me about one of her "clients" He had CU*T tattooed across his forehead. :wtf: It was obviously a home made effort done in front of a mirror as the N was the wrong way round. :lolno: I wonder why he was out o...

Re: CAR ITV - Whats going on??

My ITV ran out on 3rd Feb, I booked the earliest appointment available back in December which was 18th March. All sorted yesterday and I was surprised to note that the expiry date is now March 2023, giving me an extra month. One thing to note is that they only take payment by card, cash is no longer...

Re: Satellite/Android Hybrid Receiver

I can say for certain that you are not picking up English freesat chans from Astra at 19.2 east, they are not on there. You say you have done a re-scan and are receiving some foreign chans? Post a list of a few of them with their frequency and I will tell you which satellite you are receiving them f...

Re: Loss of some Spanish TV Channels

I thought it was only me that had this problem. Had the same both on a Panasonic and a LG. I have changed the cable and amp. Tried 2 different transmitters (as we are midway between Cordoba & Seville.) All to no avail. Channels come and go . I can have 100% signal and quality strength one day in...

Re: Retirement age Spain

I read an article yesterday that said the retirement age in Spain was due to be raised to 67 from 2027. But because of the current crisis this was likely be brought forward to next year. The article also pointed out that for every 5 euros collected in taxes in Spain, 2 euros went on pensions! Sorry ...

Re: Coronavirus

We made a trip to our nearest carrefour this morning to buy some towels and on leaving the store with three bath towels draped over my arm a woman entering stopped, stared at me and I swear you could see her thinking "Towels! I didn't realise I needed towels, I'd better buy some before they sel...

Re: Hire car had a puncture

On our way back to Spain from the UK in September I ran over something on a French road that did not puncture, but damaged the sidewall on one of my front tyres. Not wishing to put on the "space saver" spare for motorway driving I called at a garage advertising the Continental tyres I had ...

Re: Bottled gas - how does it work?

For peace of mind once you have a full bottle, before you use it have a look at the rubber hose that connects to your bottle, it will have a "use by"date stamped on the outside. The hose needs to be changed every 5 years and it's also a good idea to change the regulator at the same time. T...

Come out of the airport, turn left and the bus stop is there at the end as poppy says. 4€ pay the driver.
