Re: Sattellite HD box rip-off
Well its about time someone has the guts to inform others about companies that are not providing a good service, it gives the rest of us a bad name, But people should always ring a few companies to see how the advice differs. The Humax box mentioned above is a superb box, But Pintxo is using a sky s...

Hi Guy's Encryption is so important, i can crack WEP, Not that i want or need to, I just use it for our own network security testing! Use WPA Always if your router allows it as already suggested. If your network is left open then the police will knock at your door if the wrong type of person decides...

Hi Joan. Do you still want to keep using AOL? I only ask as there are better services available, AOL can be buggy at times. You could try Hotmail or Gmail. Web based accounts. If you want to keep on using AOL. Go to control panel and look for AOL and try to repair the installation you have. If you s...

Hi Miro.
I would definitely choose a Samsung, Having used many over the last 12 months they are superb quality, And i agree, You do not need to spend thousands, The one for around €600 would suffice.
Kindest regards.
Carl.

Re: Any suggestions for a notebook?
Hi.
A notebook would be a great idea, I wouldn't go smaller than a 10 inch screen though, And many makes available, Acer, Packard bell etc,
And many Cafe bar's offer free WiFi if you buy a coffee, Or some shopping centres offer it free any way. Best way to go!
Regards,
Carl.

Hi The unit comes complete with all cables, For example, 1 unit at the router end will comprise 1 unit that plugs into the mains socket, Then 1 Ethernet cable plugs into the unit and into the wireless router which has the 4 Port switch integrated. Re: xbox live using wireless ?
Hi.
Use one of these, http://netgear.com/home/products/powerline-and-coax/
The wifi adapter for Xbox is about €50, These are not far from that and you have a constant connection from the router, It will be connected via Cat5/6 cable at either end.
Works great, used them many times.

Carl.

Re: What size dish is required to pick up Abu Dhabi Sport
Hi. A 1m dish is fine, Also you could use a wizard arm if you have a 1.2m or 1.3m, and it works perfect, Never tried a wizard arm with a 1m. A wizard arm is an attachment for using one dish but picking up 2 different satellites! You will need to go with Badr definitely as the ADMC channels even thou...

Hi
The recording facility is due to the card. NOT the receiver, By doing the re-set hasn't caused this, But i have come across some cards that have had the subscription turned off were able to record for a while, So a coincidence.
Sorry it never fixed your problem.
kindest regards.
Carl.

Hi Axarquian.
You may have inadvertently deleted a system file, But that is not normally in the D Drive! If what Enrique does not appear to solve the issue try a system restore!
If your not sure how try the link here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306084
