Thanks for the replies, i will certainly look into it more. Jools, i've already got him booked in with a Spanish lady who teaches, for conversation twice a week!! Rick gale, well done, age should never stop you achieving anything. I think maybe i'll do it with him, something else under my belt. :D

I have the idea of my son who is 10 taking the equivalent of an O'level in Spanish on our return to the UK. Does anybody know how I would go about it? I think it would be best to discuss it with his headteacher, but maybe there is another way? I think it would be a fantastic thing for him to do whil...

Anis...going on a cruise i wish....it's the Ferry out of Spain.
Sid, i will get some of the pills you recommended, as long as they don't drug me up!!
Lavanda, i have no chance of staying in the centre. Am going with 2 kids and a dog, will have my hands full. :lol:

I've just renewed my sons via Madrid, yes it was more expensive than the UK, but came back in 8 days via courier. I sent it correos signed for.

p.s...even got in and out of Gib before we realised it had expired!!

Yes i have followed that Blondie. It's the being a resident bit i am confused about. I only want to have it for 8 weeks max and then we leave. I suppose if i get stopped i will have to lie and claim to be on holiday...goes against the grain...but needs must.

I sold my car 6 weeks ago and have been without one. My hubby has the idea of driving his UK plated car here and leaving it with me to use and then drive it back in Aug when we leave. I can't see any problems doing this as it will be insured for me to drive here, has tax and mot, apart from the fact...

PP, I took mine back with me as i don't have a UK one...put 50e credit on and only used it 3 times. Didn't think it was too bad until i got back into Spain.
