Re: Unusual offer from Monarch for flight home.
I find people with those rucksacks on their backs annoying! They just swing round knocking you flying and then glare at you for being in their way! Another pet hate is people who keep up and down to get something out of their bag in the locker. Once to get something out and once to put away is surel...

I use Marcel (Tamara Vets) in Estepona - easily accessed from the motorway. Excellent modern practice and a very knowledgeable vet who speaks very good English if required. Telephone number 952795049

Good advice. Also - see what plants are being sold currently in your local agribroker or viveros. If available then will be the time to plant.

Re: Licencia de primera ocupacion
As usual it is up to the local authority to decide how they are going to issue them. Some are simply issuing them for existing properties - others are looking at it as yet another revenue. I know of one place where they are proposing to charge 6% of the property value - and this on all houses whatev...

Re: Kindle or other
I have a touch screen Kindle 3G which I loved apart from the lack of clarity on the screen when outside in the sun. Then hubby indulged me in an iPad 2 last xmas which has the kindle app on. Apart from the battery difference I find it easier to read on the iPad. So if you do pursue the kindle I woul...

Quad Bike
Hi
When purchasing a quad bike is it important to buy one with documentation? I've seen several that do not. I understand that if you want to use it on the road - even the campo tracks - it would need to be road legal. What about if only using on your own land?
Cheers

Yes. The breakdown of what you have paid should show that also.

Re: Checked baggage
I have to agree that Ryanair has a good financial business model - I just do not accept that they (him?) have to treat their customers so rudely and arrogantly. It would be nice to see O'Leary's reaction on going to a restaurant to be rushed into a seat with no choice, offered the bare minimum to e...

Casares is a fabulous place - and not far from the coast or motorway, good links to Malaga airport and also Gibraltar. Only a spit further from Estepona.

Re: Lunch stop on the A66 north of Seville
There is very little on the actual motorway north of Seville on the A66. There is a gasolinera, hotel and restaurant around Monesterio that is but I have no idea what the food is like - only ever stopped for diesel. Your best bet will probably be the place recommended near Guillena.

Looking for a John Deere Gator or a quad bike
Any ideas? Would prefer the JD Gator as more stable but a quad bike would do. Cannot afford a new one of either though.
Any help in where to locate something suitable would be appreciated.

I must admit when I have heard others who have suffered in a similar way the offending dogs have quietly disappeared.
