Re: BB4S

There was a previous thread about BB4S a couple of years ago:

viewtopic.php?t=38410

Maybe one of the contributors to that thread can help.

It looks as though they may have been taken over by a company called Ahi+.

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax

I don't know anything about Bankia. I have never made a payment to AEAT in this way but there should, at some stage in the process, be a facility to attach the pdf file to the bank payment or, at least, the número de expediente shown on the form but, as you say, you won't know if this happens until ...

Because neither Málaga nor Benalmádena subscribe to the Patronato. You may be able to get what you need from their own individual web sites.

Re: Capital Gain Tax for over 65s

Yes, it is now 24% for fiscal residents of non EU countries but with many sellers currently making a capital loss it is not really an issue.

Re: Apps keep closing on Samsung smartphone

This kept happening on my ageing Asus tablet. The only way I could resolve it was with a factory reset. I have not had a problem since.

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax

Yes, you need to declare 2% of the valor catastral. The 2020/2008 signifies that the bill is for 2020 and the last revision was 2008. There is a remote possibility that you will receive a claim from AEAT for the difference if you calculated the tax erroneously in 2018. If you do not already have one...

Re: House sale proceeds

Notwithstanding, the risk exists and whilst not an everyday event it can happen and I would consider it to be irresponsible not to make this known to the seller. Additionally, once the funds are deposited in a Spanish bank account the bank can charge up to 0,35% to make a subsequent transfer especia...

Re: House sale proceeds

There is a problem with having the funds transferred to the seller's account rather than by means of a banker's draft in that a transfer could be cancelled by the party that transferred the funds once the seller had signed over the property. Yes, it is very unlikely to happen and if it does it would...

Re: House sale proceeds

No, that is not the way to do it. The proceeds from the sale are paid directly to the seller by means of a banker's draft made out in the seller's name with deductions already having been made for fees and expenses (and repayment of a mortgage if applicable) even if a representative is signing with ...

Re: House sale proceeds

You should be given a banker's draft for the proceeds of the sale at the moment of signing the escritura. This would be in Euros but, if you wish, it can be passed directly to the representative of a currency exchange service such as Currencies Direct so that you do not incur charges from your Spani...

Re: Not Receiving emails

Do you have any alternative email accounts? Can you send and receive emails from them? Try setting up an email account with something like GMX. It is free, easy to do and it will help determine if the problem lies with Hotmail. You can close it subsequently, or just not use it, if things return to n...
