The funcionario threw a bit of a wobbly but we sorted him out :D We used our out of date ones for over a year and only changed them when we came t...

Re: CGT and a "10 year rule"?
Interesting. Not trying to solicit personal information, but I am interested to know other's opinions on this; did you lose on your property, Broke even are you liable for lots of taxes ,NO in short, has it cost you heavily to leave, NO and if so, do you nevertheless feel it was worth cutting your ...

Which leads me nicely onto the other threads I started about if Greece defaults, and the other one about would you sell if you could. My dilemna is: should I sell my property now - at a loss on what I paid for it in 2004 but still get clobbered for 9k CGT (yes, I saved on tax when buying by underde...

Re: Leaving on a Jet Plane....
Wolves lost again to Stoke today They need a player like Billy Wright, the one who married the Beverley sisters. The Posh and Becks of their day. Good luck in Wolverhampton. What was the straw that broke the camels back? No 'straw', we have enjoyed it mostly but it was never meant to be a permanent...

Yes the weather is foul
Yes, Wolves lost to Man U. No surprise there then.
Yes, we are glad to be back, there is more to life than the weather.
We will be visiting Spain on holiday for some winter sun in the future

Thanks all for your good wishes, we are now back in dull, grey and rainy Wolverhampton.
Crossing was fine and I waved to Mark Wilding on the way.
I'll still post on the forum if that's OK.
