Re: Ryanair yet again!

Another ploy by Michael O'Leary to manipulate you to do what he wants! He doesn't want you to take hold bags - he's said that many times. He therefore makes it awkward for you if you choose to. It's your choice.

Re: changing pounds to euros?

Are you dealing with cash or money already in a bank account in the U.K.? If it's in a bank account you could use a Revolut card with consistently good rates, and ATM. If cash, you are at the mercy of the dealers.

Re: Moving to Costa Tropical

Is Nerja classed as Costa Tropical? If so, then surely worth considering. Property more expensive but it has many benefits. Good Supermarkets, restaurants and bars, tapas bars, nightlife etc.

I remember a tv interview with Michael O'Leary where he said that his philosophy was simple.
" I maximise sales and minimise my costs. The bit in the middle is mine!"

Owners Direct

Does anyone else rent out their Spanish property through Owners Direct? If so, do you understand their charging, commission, deposit and deposit refund system and payment system? No? I thought not! Neither does anyone else! It's bizarre!
