I had quotes for taxis from Tangiers via friends who live there its 250 euros one way per car. Best option is the train 33 euros one way in first class overnight, you may want to take your own bedding. Or hire a cabin for four buying extra seats and not using them, but it gives you privacy. I bought a pair of Tibmerland walking shoes and they served me proud on a six month trip in Latin America. Leather with strong soles.
Good luck with sourcing a new pair in Extremadura.

Ive just come back from the Patio festival, amazing and well worth the trip to Cordoba. I parked in a main underground carpark on Paseo de la Victoria. Sunburnt in London

Just back from London, where I caught sunburn on the top of a tourist bus,
everyone in colourful spring attire, returned home to Spain to a nip in the air.
