Re: Residencia. Yes or No ?

My understanding is the 180 days starts on the first day you arrive in Spain.
So you can be here for a max of 90 in that period.

Re: T.I.E

When I was in the Torre del Mar police station this morning, with my wife to submit her TIE forms, I'm sure I overheard someone complaining that they had been trying for 3 months to get an appointment to collect their TIE.

I had a look and it only seems to be for Malaga province that it gives an error.
Tried another province and worked OK.

Re: Coronavirus

The app relies on the infected person if they know they have it and have the app installed on their phone, informing the app that they have Covid.
Agree that 15 minutes contact time seems rather long.

Re: T.I.E

All went OK for me. I got there 15 mins before my allocated appointment time and was seen immediately, no waiting. I was told to wait a month and then book an appointment to collect my TIE. Out of interest, I had a look, today, at booking an appointment for a month's time. But the Torre del Mar poli...

Re: Solid core cable

Yes, you have answered your own question. Solid core cables definitely need replacing. Light switches in the live line. You might be able to get away with putting a piece of appropriate coloured sleeving over the ends of the stranded core cable, assuming they are of the correct sizes for the circuit...

Re: Coronavirus

Specsavers in Fuengirola can do a full eye examination, including medical problems with your eyes.
They can take photos of the retina, do glaucoma test etc and have all the latest kit.
They can check on the progress of my wife's macular degeneration.

Re: Coronavirus

This is my understanding of how it works. You instal the app on your phone, leave it running and have Bluetooth switched on. If you, or anybody else with the app, get Covid 19 then you inform the app and then whenever anybody else comes within Bluetooth range, about 10 mtrs, of the infected person t...

Re: Vodafone SIM card for watching TV

A SIM card is a SIM card and can be used in any device that accepts a SIM card. I'm with Vodafone ES. I pay €47 a month for a 4G in casa package. All my devices run off 4G. My 4G router has unlimited data and usually, 40-50 Mbps download speed. My 4G mobile phone has 6G of data a month. My 4G portab...

Agreed but according to their website:- ¿LOS COMBUSTIBLES SON DE CALIDAD? Si. En Easygas trabajamos con combustibles aditivados que mejoran su rendimiento y el de tu motor. Concretamente utilizamos HQ300 para aditivar el gasóleo y HQ400 para la gasolina. Ambos suministrados por CLH. Nuestros combust...

Re: Cheap Fuel at junction 265 on A7

They are the ones.
What surprises me is that they queue to get into the Gueroil one, blocking up the roundabout, and yet very few people seem to use the new Easygas one where the prices are the same and the forecourt is larger.

Cheap Fuel at junction 265 on A7

Several months ago a new fuel station, Gueroil opened almost opposite a Cepsa fuel station at junction 265 on A7, between Velez Malaga and Rincon de la Victoria. Their fuel was cheaper so Cepsa didn't sell so much. A few weeks ago Cepsa shut and has now reopened as Easygas. They only sell Petrol 95 ...

I think, in theory it isn't needed, but I am taking the original plus a photocopy of my residencia.
Generally speaking, officials usually need to see the original, of any document, and they keep the photocopy.
