Re: Volkswagen.

............. So what you are saying is that you have removed the EGR which will result in your car emitting more noxious gases and are quite happy to remove the catalytic converter to make it even worse? And I thought it was VW that were cheating! I suppose you expect us all to congratulate you fo...

Re: Electricity bills online.

Tried several times today, as the username has been logged but not activate the website kept saying:

Ups! Parece que algo no ha funcionado. Por favor, inténtalo más tarde.
So I have given up and will go to see Endesa in Nerja when we are there. Thank you for all comments.

Re: Cement / plaster on internal walls coming off

You can search for Unibond PVA alternative. From this forum you need to ask for "cola blanca para hormigon":

Hammerite paint in Spain

I was going to bring some hammerite paint for my gate and windows fence but after reading comments here about the subject, it seems that hammerite paint is unsuitable because of the sun and the heat. Please give advice if you have used hammerite or recomment a good Spanish metal paints.
Thanks

Re: House improvement

I disagreed with "the bigger the better" wood burner. In general wood burning stoves achieve high efficiency in high temperature and the stove should be sized for the volume of space it needs to heat. There is formula in stove selling websites for you to input your own dimensions before se...

Re: desperate help no residente bank account

About 2012 when we wanted open a/c with santander, we said we have santander UK a/c and the branch in Malaga wanted £10,000 to be put into a saving account which we declined. When we bought our house, we asked another santander branch near El Morche and we have the same suggestion. It seems that the...

Re: desperate help no residente bank account

For moving money I used Currencies Direct they take about 2% in Euro ie if the interbank rate is €1.37 to £1 then the exchange is about €1.35 to £1. We openned our bank a/c with Unicaja and used our passports as ID. It was straight forward and excellent customer service.

Re: Cement / plaster on internal walls coming off

Could have been caused by inferior plaster or that part of the wall hadn't been sealed (primed) properly before the plasterer applying the plaster coats. I'd suggest that you get some PVA adhesive then mixed with water, ratio 1 to 4 or 1 to 5 the smaller the ratio the better the seal, then brush it ...

Re: Wanted: a good techy for network problems

Perhaps you should change the ISP. The problem of connected wirelessly with the printer could be the wireless part of the driver. Some time the update printer drivers and/or software update of the PC/tablet cause connection problem. I don't normally do driver update for my printer only when I have p...

Thank you for your comment Wicksey. I tried to register yesterday but failed on the Identification page. After putting your username and password, the next page is proof of who you are, it asks for Document and document number, but under the document box, the pull down menu didn't give any option (c...

Re: Wanted: a good techy for network problems

To the OP: Comares is high on the hill so I assume your Internet is delivered by 4G network? To print wirelessly you don't need to be on Internet but the printer and the pc or tablet or smartphone have to be in the same home network and connected to each other at the time of printing. It means that ...
