I was told that one of the best ways to get one going, and (apparently what the locals do) is to throw a dead dog/sheep/goat or similar in there when you finish buiding it!

people moving to Spain from the UK bring their assets with them, buy property, employ builders, gardeners etc. They also buy cars and pay taxes every year. well yes they do,.....but many employ british "builders, gardeners" etc.... many of whom are not working legally, and many who are in no way ´q...

most medical words are latin based and near-identical in English and Spanish.

Most medications will be recognised , especially if you still have the boxes.

After all if they can diagnose unconscious patients, jus a litlle verbal communication should go a long way!!!!!!!

yes they do, have to go to school, by law, is my understanding. There is no home schooling facility. School hasnt started yet. How old are the children. Obligatory Education doesnt start till 6 yrs old, and ends at 16. The schools can and frequently do impose sanctions fro bad behaviour etc... " exc...

some so called "intelligent" machines,will only do low temp washes if they only have the cold feed connected! After 3 months of my neighbour doing my washing, I proudly announced, that we now had electricity, and could do my own!!..... only to find the macjine wouldnt work!! We got round the problem...
