Can dogs smell cancer?

Saw a documentary last night that proved that dogs can sniff out lung, breast, bladder and prostate cancer with differing success rates ranging from 43% to 97% depending on the form of cancer and how trained the dog is.

Anyone know more on the subject?

There are some beautiful marble heaters that go on the wall that heat up rooms cant remember the name though. But I think they are basic electric heaters.

I have just got some Infra Red Halogen heaters for my terrace and I understand these can be used indoors too - they are very economical to run.

Its happening a lot in Nueva Andalucia too, when I find the buggers I will kill them, I've been here for over 20 years and its always been pleasant and now it is being defaced - not happy

ILL SAY IT AGAIN!!! I agree the gas ones are ugly, expensive and expensive to use. Thats why I got infra red halogen heaters they are small little lamp type things with special bulbs and design to eat very effectively and economically.

I see your point, thats one of the reasons I got an infra-red heater which is connected to the electricity and is very economical to run and therefore very environmentally friendly - so not to worry! got it from a local company marbellamist.com

Because many strange shapes of pools cant have a slatted cover and some people want an automatic cover rather than the cumbersome bubble cover like myself

I saw that at the show its a way of covering the pool with lots of little balls, mainly for freeform pools apparently our pool company have something on their website about it.
