They may spend more time but they cost less to repair and will indeed last longer over 70% of land rovers ever built are still on the road and whats more land rovers have soul.

Also I still dont understand the problem if someone has english plates and the tax has run out but its insured and is about to be transferred on to spanish plates, whats the problem? You expect someone to pay a years tax for a couple of weeks driving? And even if they are keeping it on uk plates as ...

Out of the options you listed I would go for a land rover freelander but the new one as it is much improved on previous models. Otherwise have you thought about the land rover defender? Will last forever and not as uncomfortable as many say. Also a 2nd hand discovery or range rover would also be goo...

Thanks for that. Its not rustic land its just not being built on yet a kilometer or so maximum from what is currently built. There are some houses dotted around the area.

Im looking at buying a plot about 5 minutes inland from the edge of built nueva andalucia, now there arent any for sale signs or anything how do I buy it and from who? There is nothing built nearby

Being born here I couldnt say but what I wish my parents did when they moved here was bought much more land and/or kept the land they bought in the start for longer.

Indeed it is but I find they actually appreciate the politness but if you really want to become spanish and fully integrated then yes you shouldnt say gracias or por favor.
