statistic ??

Out of interest where did you get this statistic ?

It seems to me to be a little wide of the mark.

"Over 50% of brits that move to Spain will return to UK within 12 months so I am certainly not in the minority of people that don't settle."

Good luck !

employment contract

I understand that a contract of employment does exist. She will be taking the matter further with her lawyer.

Strange as it may seem, daneinspain, good or bad employee, everyone has rights.

Thank you all for the comments.

All the best.

THanks

Sassy, thank you for the prompt response. I'll have the details later today. My understanding is that she was simply told to pack up her desk and leave.

It sounds to me like a travesty. I'm going to be doing all I can to assist !

regards

a friend has been fired..............

A friend, who has been working for a Spanish company, successfully, for the last 3 years, has just been fired. A trumped up excuse, no notice, marched off the premises after coming in to the office for a hour during leave to help. The individual has a proper contract which has been breached. Any adv...

Which one ?

We have no experience of Prevision, but our limited use of Sanitas has been excellent, no complaints. For us, age 54 and 42, non smokers, 900 euros a year.

Come on now !

From what I can gather this is the first of its kind at this location.

What can I say ?

I do hope you have fun though.

You can buy wood burning ones at less than 100 euros. Last year, we stopped at a place on the Malaga to Cordoba road ( Benameji, I recall, small town packed full of furniture shops ) and bought a wonderful cast iron estuffa. One log keeps you warm all evening. Those gas ones are ugly and way over th...
