Hi I've used Skype for some time now and find it absolutely excellent. I put €10 into it for calling landlines and have only used €6 in nearly a year calling the YUK to a landline..and other landlines around the world: it is only about 6 cents a minute for landline calls and of course free for compu...

:( I use a sky box "sin card" and get ITV1,2,3,4 now but rarely after 6pm when it starts to break up. I only have a metre dish, would a 1.3 one stop this?

I was corgi registered in YUK. I don't worry too much about the LPG bottles and strange contracts BUT I do worry about the advent of natural gas being piped around all over the place. I love the spanish to death but their comprehension on technical matters, such as combustible air for instance, leav...

:( I haven't been for a year or so, but the opening hours were about 0900 'till 1330, the queues were at least 45 minutes. I did read that they were taking on extra staff in order to stay open all day but I've heard that before, someone else may know. Take a book and expect nothing, then when you ge...

Hi Jane From an engineering point of view there is absolutely no reason not to have a shared Pozo or Septic Tank. I speak from a lifetime of dealing with people; both from a builders point of view, a local councilor and as a suffering neighbor! Anything which is shared is a potential cause of argume...

K.... 1.Shared Septic Tank or Pozo is a definate no-no...fraught with hazards  2. Septic Tank Regulations only apply to new build; but are most desirable on re-forms in my opinion. 3. Use of grey water in the garden is very necessary if you are a gardener, there are those however who wouldn't...

:) Yes that is very common in rural Spain and you have no problems, even though the purists will tell you it has been illegal since 2002 (which it is!) but the old ways prevail in rural Spain ...God Bless Them!! Basically you have a huge hole in the ground into which you can pour anything you choose...

:D Edna...are we talking "Pozo Negro" or "Septic Tank"? Pozo Negro is just a hole in the ground and requires no consideration other than when it gets full! Septic Tanks get everything they need from the first "flush"!...think of them as a liquid compost heap, the bugs love food bits, sour milk and h...

:? I drive ( and enjoy driving) my RHD car. It is an old friend of 12 years (and been imported into Spain the last 5 years). It is road legal in all countries in Europe and I wouldn't swap it for the world. The only real difficulty is in overtaking but with a competent front seat passenger there is ...
