Re: gibraltar

Was up there in the car last Saturday, if you drive up after 17:30hrs the gates are open but the office closed so it's free. The monkeys are still about and you won't be able to go in the caves or tunnels but hay credit crisis the view is still a good one!

Cheers

Re: Your advice would be really, really appreciated!

There are also the Commission only jobs, they seem to be the only ones advertised in the Sur in English at the moment. Normally means you can work here for nothing!

Hope we haven't put you off......

Re: Your advice would be really, really appreciated!

If you are lucky enough to find employment you are looking at about €1.200 per month take home! That will normally include working a half day Saturday as well. it equates to slave labour but is the norm here.

Good luck in your quest!

Do a search on google there should be loads. A large Hippy community moved in by the castle and the old town in the Seventies I believe some of them are still there. The old town has since relocated down the road and the residents moved, I don't remember exact dates. Google will show exact dates and...

You would expect to pay at least 5€ for the same, that is unless you don't mind finding a Spanish Tapa type bar where Spanish go. The norm on the coast is 5€ for a cuba libre, there are places that charge 7€ and Banus can be 15€ for same Sure you will find a nice cheap bar restaurant as they are abo...
