I didn't get my job through recuitment agencies as they have to many people on there books. I looked at the Gib Yellow website and sent emails direct to a load of companies and got 2 telephone calls the next morning. Interviewed the same day and started work a week later. the online gaming companies are nearly always recruiting, I get the Gib Chronicle everyday and there are nearly always 2 or three jobs in it.

I got made redundant on December 20th 2008, enjoyed christmas as no point in looking for work. Started looking about second week in Jan, started new job in Gib 2nd Feb. I live in Marbella so have to travel but there is work in Gib if you go to Gib looking. Email and phone and they always seem to say...

Was up there in the car last Saturday, if you drive up after 17:30hrs the gates are open but the office closed so it's free. The monkeys are still about and you won't be able to go in the caves or tunnels but hay credit crisis the view is still a good one!

Hi All I start my new job in Gibraltar on Monday morning and am offering my car to share for the journey there and back. The bank holiday has been carried over until Monday. My missus attends the Town Hall Spanish Classes and has been told they are closed on Monday due it being a bank holiday........

There are also the Commission only jobs, they seem to be the only ones advertised in the Sur in English at the moment. Normally means you can work here for nothing!

If you are lucky enough to find employment you are looking at about €1.200 per month take home! That will normally include working a half day Saturday as well. it equates to slave labour but is the norm here.

You would expect to pay at least 5€ for the same, that is unless you don't mind finding a Spanish Tapa type bar where Spanish go.
