Sounds very similar to a Convivencia, we got ours at the Town Hall. If you are not married it just means you are registered as a couple living together and have legal rights a such.

Our NIES's took 2 weeks and cost €6 each here in Marbella. They do not require photos just your Passport and an address in Spain.

Again we know in Spain things can be different from region to region.

It's just up from The Point and across the road in Nueva andalucia, I used to play in a band there in the eighties. Yes there were some infamous faces there most of the time. It looks closed now with a for sales sign up. Freddie Foreman used to run it back in the eighties.

Go to any Gestoria and ask them to "Baja" the car, take the paperwork with you. They will charge a fee but the Baja will get your name off of the paperwork.

one to know:- To work in spain you require a NIE number (not sure if you intend to work or not) however if your address is a campsite the authorities will not issue you with this, you need a permanent address. A friend at work had this problem, the company could not employ them without this number (...

Sewing Machine Oil

Does anybody know where we can buy Sewing machine oil for an industrial sewing machine. Preferably litre bottle.............

Goes into the reservoir underneath the machine, seen something similar but in tiny bottles nowhere near enough.

Any help will be greatly appreciated..........
