Re: What do the Spanish think about a Brexit?

Hello Mark, I haven´t crossed swords with you for ages. Yes the EU is stagnating with little or no growth and little prospect of any improvement in the foreseeable future. Unemployment throughout the southern countries has gotten much worse under the umbrella of the EU. It is so sad to see groups of...

Re: What do the Spanish think about a Brexit?

I often have a chat in my local builders merchants about the EU. The chap there hates it for the devastation it has caused to employment, especially for the young in Spain. When I explained to him about the referendum in the UK he said he hoped we voted to leave as it would probably bring about the ...

Somehow or other I missed the last episode of this programme. Does anybody have it on their computer that would send it to me.

Thanks - TerryC

HTML Problem

Due to a slow internet connection I download most of my programmes to a lap top and then watch them on TV later via an HTML cable. A few times lately the TV has told me "No Signal" when I#ve attached the computer to the TV. The only way around this I have found is to do a system restore which is pre...

Mark

I use Filmon and am willing to pay €9.99 because for 99% of the time it works without any problems.

Doc Martin

Hiya I've seen the topic regarding Filmon and have got to say I've had few problems. I have a slow connection but use the Downthemall app to get over the slow connection. It works. BTW I pay €9.99 a month to get ten hours of recording so by downloading and then deleting the downloaded programme once...

Re: How to watch TV from a memory stick.

The memory stick I tried was already formatted as Fat32, I tried it in the TV but the machine still states, File Not Supported.

The TV is a Technika LCD 32-56.

How to watch TV from a memory stick.

Because of slow internet I download all TV programmes from Filmon and then connect the laptop to the TV with an HDMI cable. I have tried putting the programme onto a memory stick and plugging it into the TV but it states that the file is not compatible. The TV guide says the file must be FAT32 but t...

Re: Downloader Programmes

Enrique I've now been using DownThemAll with Firefox for a couple of weeks and I've got to say it is brilliant. Half a dozen times my internet connection has been broken, but everytime dTa has picked up from where it left off, wonderful. My ISP eMailed me to say they were having local problems, henc...

Re: Downloader Programmes

Enrique thanks so much for this information. I added DownThemAll and am now happily downloading programmes from Filmon using it. There is a definite increase in download speed, not quite the "up to 4x faster" but a definite improvement. I´ll now wait to see what happens if my connection gets broken....

Downloader Programmes

Living in the campo can be very frustrating as regards the internet. I use Excom and generally the service is pretty good. I pay for 1Meg which equates to a download speed of about 100kbs generally. But sometimes the connection breaks down. I mostly use the internet for downloading TV from Filmon an...

Re: TV USB Port

Thanks for the reply. The TV supports FAT32 so I converted the memory stick to FAT32, copied the MP4 onto the reformatted memory stick and still the TV states "this file format not supported." I guess it is the file format that actally needs changing. I checked on Google for how to convert MP4 files...

TV USB Port

I´ve started using Freemon, recording programmes, downloading them and playing them via an HDMI cable on the television, brilliant. I had to download a programme to my laptop to be able to play the MP4 file format that Freemon uses. I then tried saving the downloaded programmes to a memory stick but...

Somebody returning to the UK has offered me a .22 Air Rifle. Does anybody know if you need a license to have one of these or if it needs to be registered with the police?

Downloading ITV programmes,

BBC Television

So it looks like the big switch off has started to happen. We've lost all BBC channels but everything else, ITV, Channel 4, Sky News seem to be working OK. Rumour (lots of those about) has it that ITV will be moving at some time in the future, we will have to wait and see. Anybody else anything to r...
