Re: Radio Code Ford Ka

This is probably too late, but take the ashtray out and look at the back of it, you may find the keycode written on a label there.

Re: Ryanair

I finally went down to the Ryanair Reservations/Handling desk at Malaga airport. A three hour round trip, petrol costs and car parking charges. I explained that I had been directed there by Ryanair head office. They couldn't help me, didn't know anything about a letter to say I had not flown etc. I ...

Re: Ryanair

I still can't see why it's a Ryanair problem. If you don't take a flight, you lose the money - unless there is a medical problem. In which case, it's up to the insurance company to sort it out. The same would happen if you flew with BA, Virgin, Air France etc. I am not saying it is Ryanair's proble...

Re: Ryanair

Here is a copy of an eMail I sent to Ryanair yesterday:- Why is Ryanair making this so difficult. A charge for this letter to confirm that I did not take a flight was not mentioned on your website. I would have enclosed a cheque with the letter if I had been informed, not that I believe there should...

Mouser

My complaint is that Ryanair want to charge me for a letter, to send to my insurance company, for a flight that I didn't take with them. A flight that originally cost £117.00 to book.

My mother was supposed to be coming to Spain for her 90th birthday. She lives in the Isle of Man and is frail so I was going to fly to Liverpool to escort here to Malaga. She had two falls and two hospital stays just before the long planned trip coming out of hospital two days before the trip here. ...

The Big Switch Off

It appears that at 19.40 yesterday evening we finally lost British TV. I presume we are not the only ones. We switched to Spanish TV watched through an arial into the back of the TV. Despite setting Audio and subtitle to English all the English language films and programmes were in Spanish, is there...

Homelite Strimmer

I was given a petrol driven strimmer a Homelite Bandit SX135 but it is missing the bolt and spring that holds the spool in place. It was manufactured in the USA so does not have metric threads, besides the the bolt will be a RH thread. Does anybody know if there is a distributor here in Andalucia, o...

Re: ukip policies on what to do with expats

Is Mark Wilding an MEP or EU Commissioner or work in some way for the EU by any chance? They must be the only people who can possibly support the EU dictatorship which is taking over sovereign nations one by one. I fail to understand how political leaders of a sovereign nation can support the EU oth...

Re: Parking at Carlos Haya

The underground car park on the otherside of the road from Carlos Haya is very convenient and not that expensive, I´ve used it loads of times and there are always spaces available. The bar just up from it does a nice cup of coffee as well.

Strange Object in the Sky this morning

Did anybody else see a strange object in the sky this morning. It appeared to approach the southern coast of Spain around Malaga at about 9.00am from a SE direction, then turned left towards the west. It was going too slowly for a commercial plane and looking through binoculars appeared to be missil...

Re: Mechanics, any ideas please?

Thanks for your replies. I understand what you are saying about the discs, but normally with warped discs you can feel the break pedal undulating as the disc pushes the pistons in and out of the calipers, there is none of that with my car, the brake pedal is solid with no movement, and there is no b...

Mechanics, any ideas please?

I have a Ford Focus year 2000. When I brake heavily or brake going down a long hill I get severe vibration through the steering wheel, but not through the brake pedal. The wheels are balanced and there are no bulges in the tyres. I´ve checked the front wheel bearings and they are OK and none of the ...

Re: Disturbing?

The law applies to the police as much as the general public so if the police want the protesters to uncover their faces then they should set an example and do the same along with their numbers. I believe this is called fairness, a commodity sadly missing from todays society. We live in a world where...

Re: Disturbing?

It seems to me that the police in the UK think they are now in a police state as well as the Spanish police. Developments over the last few years are extremely disturbing. It will never be proved but this all seems to be coming from the EU, they want to control every aspect of our lives. Keep the ri...

Re: Soloptical ?

Hello I´ve used Soloptica in the past, they do a proper eye test but not a test for glucoma. Their glasses are fine but because I have varifocals they took a week to supply. My last pair of glasses were from Specsavers in Fuengirola where a full eye test was carried out including a thorough inspecti...

Re: Petition for change in Andalucia

If everybody took the attitude of White Horse and El Cid where would the world be today? It is better to have tried and failed than not try at all is such a true saying. I have signed and I wish the instigator the very best of luck. Look what has happened today in the UK with the report on Hillsboro...
