thanks so much guys ... I clicked on 'enable ... ' and got into site!!! ... then took me and friend another 45 minutes to struggle/curse/lambast complicated/convoluted/contradictory info ... but finally have paid both water and IBI bills!!! ... think I am going to get us a drink now!!!

I do have some experience of dementia: my mother had dementia; I was involved with Carer's Network Westminster for some years where I frequently met carers (unpaid family members or friends) who were looking after persons with dementia and I still have a close friend who works for Alzheimers Society.

my point of view is that whatever physical/mental state someone finds themselves in, there is a human being, a person, an individual inside/underneath and we need to respect/support s/he within ... and, as por commented ...' ... writing off people who will be someone’s mother, grandma, uncle, husban...

to return to the discussion re old people in care homes: seems to me that those who wish to have an end to their lives should be able to do so (with legal/family assistance if necessary) but to label/stereotype such persons as 'Most are in care homes for a reason such as dementia. Not just memory lo...

here's an alternative scenario: we should have ignored lockdown (the fittest will survive), not bothered about wearing gloves or masks (conflicting advice re effectiveness), nor had regard for social distancing as is a waste of space ie eat, drink and be merry with as many friends as you have ... no...

there is a hot dry bank behind my place .... have been collecting nasturtium, hollyhock and nigella seeds ... mehtinks to scatter them around that bank... ?do I save the seeds til Autumn or scatter them around now? ... any advice welcome ...
