Re: help needed please

I would be more than happy with Cajamar. Only fees charged are for non-resident certificate (every 2 years) and for the visa electron card. No 'account charges'. Their online banking is easy to manipulate and is available in english and spanish. No charges for payments inwards (euro) or out to local...

Re: Bloody Football

Santi Cazorla the Malaga player, who plays for Malaga in the typical Spanish midfield way, didn't even get a game. He replaced Andres Iniesta v France @ 84 mins. It must be difficult to be a midfielder looking for a game with the likes of Fabregas, Iniesta, Xavi, Xabi Alonso etc all ahead of you in...

Re: new run way malaga opens tomorrow

The taxi to/from the stand to the new runway is considerably longer than for the old runway. I can imagine Ryanair complaining that it is impacting their turnaround performance.

It must be the official opening, because we landed on it last month. Also used it for take off.

Re: Golf tournament

wow, that's leaving it a bit late to book, isn't it?
Doyouspain have cars available Peugeot 107 for €70 or Clio 3 door for €73.

I use them alll the time as you can book a good distance out and if the price drops, then just rebook as they have free cancellation!

annoyingly things like the "laps remaining", especially now the MotoGP seasons are here. If the screens that big you should be able to read the pit boards as you go past! Check if there is a setting called 'smart screen'. My Sony doesn't show the top or bottom of some images in the ...

You can normally pick up that info on the Ayto. website (www.velezmalaga.es). Half way down the page there is a calendar and if you click on it, it takes you to the 'agenda'. So far it is only updated till June.

Re: Starter Motor for Aprilia scooter

Depending on what model and year Aprilia, the engine is probably manufactured by Motori Minarelli, which is owned by Yamaha, or it is a Piaggio engine, as Piaggio owns Aprilia.

don't look just for Aprilia parts!

Re: Car Hire Malaga Airport

1. why resurrect a thread that is almost three years old? 2. it clearly states in malaga car people's website FAQ that cars are supplied empty and that a full tank will be charged separately. 3. the website also clearly gives a phone number that you are to call on arrival for the mini bus to collect...

Re: car hire (fuel policy)

i see that Doyouspain are now offering some vehicles as Full/Full. However the price seems substantially higher than with the "usual terms". eg a Seat Ibiza Full/Full is €60 dearer than a VW Golf Full/Empty, for a 10 day rental.

Re: Cajamar - compulsory contribution

It's a non-resident account ok, but the last 'non-res cert' was issued in October 2010 and I think they are valid for 2 years. Also, the non resident cert charge was shown individually for wife and myself whereas this 'compulsory contribution' is shown as one item.

Cajamar - compulsory contribution

Just checking my online account today and notice that €61 was taken out yesterday with the details 'Compulsory Contibution'. There are no other details posted yet, but it appears that this is a 'cash call'. I remember years ago when I opened the account that I was told Cajamar was a co-op and it was...

internet connection and probably a proxy server.
Sky Go will pick up the Spanish IP address, just like BBC iplayer, so you will have to fool it into thinking you are in UK.
Also remember that watching TV on your lap top is a download and will eat into your internet allowances.

There is only one Yoigo phone shop in El Ingenio, but The Phone Warehouse also supplies phones on the Yoigo network along with all the major networks.  Cheers Gerry And that is why I asked Deb which shop she bought in and which shop had the helpful staff who all spoke English. Was it t...
