No hard sell for extra insurance and deposit is the same as the cost of the car hire. Fuel policy is h...

I also use Malaga car and would suggest you speak with them as they also drop off at the airport in their rental cars so they might pick up too if asked.

Re: Local chiringuito's.....

Not sure when these open but can certainly vouch for the quality of the food. Excellent. The one immediately on entering the beach from the supermarket entrance is superb and is really busy in the evenings during the height of the summer. Usually need to book. They usually stay open until late sep e...

El Corte Ingles in Puerto Banus had the heavier ones during the summer. I bought foldable wooden ones in Ikea.

Re: Malaga Airport buses

The bus to Marbella is just outside arrivals at the airport. You need to buy your ticket from the kiosk to the left when you exit from the airport building.

Here is a link to the bus times.

Re: Mr Whippy type ice cream van

There is an ice cream van that travels around the urbanisation in the manilva area during the summer months although i don't think it is the mr whippy type ice cream. I have heard the music and the kids shouting for their money but i personally have not used it.

Re: tomato salad

oops forgot about the pepper. I don't add in vinegar as i usually serve it with onion bread that i make with caramelized onions in it. I like to use oregano as i usually have some fresh on the windowsill there again i usually have basil too.

Re: tomato salad

Core the tomatoes and cut them lengthwise into 4 to 8 wedges, depending on their size. Slice in some onion, sprinkle on salt, and crumble in a couple of pinches of dried oregano (or add a few fresh oregano leaves if you have them). Sprinkle with a little olive oil. If preferred use basil leaves.

Re: Have they built them yet?

Just read this on another forum

It has just been confirmed by Jose Luis Hernandez that the tunnel in San Pedro will be opened by the Minister for public works Ana Pastor, on Tuesday 26th June at 5:15 pm

Also read that it did open and it is quicker.

Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to get coarse or medium coarse wholemeal flour in any of the Spanish supermarkets or even Morrisons?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Good Friday habbits

Nothing to do with 'Popery'. It's all to do with penance - a form of that being abstinence which there are countless references to in the bible. God’s first command to man with respect to abstinence occurred in the Garden of Eden. Gen 2:17 “. There are various other references to abstaining from eat...
