We have always had very nice meals at El Patio, Mezquitilla, and go there often. El Chicle, Torrox Costa is also very good, though more expensive and I'm told that El Pino at Torrox Costa (not the one at Torrox Park) is also very good, although I've yet to try it. Don't know if you've tried any of t...

When my kids took their moto tests, we were told by the driving school that they had to have residencia numbers, but I stood my ground and argued, and after a few phone calls they accepted NIE numbers. I wonder if this would be the same for driving licenses, especially as not everyone is required to...

There seems to be some confusion around this year as to whether it starts on the 7th or 8th My son's physio, who has premises in town says she has officially been told the 8th, but her Spanish friends have all said it always starts on a Friday (7th). She's vacating on the 7th, to be on the safe side...

I understood from my lawyer that our UK will is relevant only to assets in the UK. We were advised to make a Spanish one to cover our assets here,as they would be disposed of under Spanish law. So now we have both.

Thanks for all the replies. My son had an operation earlier this Summer and I was looking or things to entertain him. I asked the, very daft really ( blame the vino) question in desperation one evening. However, once he was out of the chair, and walking, we did visit the caves. He loved them. I'm su...

Tammy,

While you are visiting Vinuela ( I prefer the resturant on the right), come down to the coast. From Mezquitilla or Algarrobo, you can have a very pleasant walk along the paseo, right along to Torre Del Mar. Very Spanish, flat for wheelchairs (I've tried it), nice resturants and lovely view.

My winter wardrobe consists of long trousers rather than cropped ( I don't do shorts), shoes rather than flip flops, (though I comfortably wear flip flops from May till Oct). T shirts rather than vest tops, and a few fleeces and cardi's for cool days. The polo necks I brought from the UK remain unus...

last week, I took some visiting friends to visit a very nice beach bar. I haven't been there for several weeks and was very surprised to find there were very few customers. (The bar, previously Spanish run, had been bought earlier this year by a british couple, but had, I believe retained Spanish St...

Nerja Caves

Does anyone know if the caves at Nerja have wheelchair access? If so, do they have wheelchairs available for visitors?
Thanks.
