Re: UK TV listings magazine

I was also going to recommend Digiguide as it's excellent. Slight correction though on the post above, it's £15 a year (We're charged £10 Sid as we're existing customers).

I used the "snipping tool" in Windows 7 to take the screenshot and Photoshop to smudge out my personal details.

Re: Speed Traffic Cameras..!!

Reports on the news today say speeding has increased by 80 percent since the switch off. This was in Oxfordshire. The cameras were switched off, but not the recording mechanism; so the "Safety Partnership" aka fund generators, went to each of the 70 or so (?) cameras across the county and checked t...

Re: Picking up at Malaga airport

As above. Just tell them to go up in the lifts, outside and turn right.

When you arrive in the car go up the ramp and you'll find yourself outsides departures.

Re: Slow jerky display

The latest driver I could find for the 9200 series is this - http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/P ... ional/Home

It's also dated 2006 but November of that year.

Might be worth trying that but I must admit I'm struggling for ideas now.

Re: Slow jerky display

The symptoms you're describing, jerky motion when scrolling down a website, slow movement when using cursor keys, all point towards the GPU driver not being installed (or installed incorrectly). Can you go to "Start" > "Run.." and type dxdiag and press enter. When the DXdiag window opens there will ...

Re: Slow jerky display

I've had a re-read what my problem is, and it may be I'm STILL not explaining this very well! My display is not shaky. The image is perfect. It is even better since I downloaded the updated driver. Let's say for example I'm reading the news in the Guardian. The page reads perfectly well but as soon...

Re: Slow jerky display

You're referring to the BIOS and if you're given a choice of speeds it sounds like they are previously saved profiles. Why you'd need to do this more than once (you make reference to doing this before) is slightly odd. It also wouldn't really relate itself to the monitor/screen problems you're descr...

Re: New Computer

It seems neither Freecom or Logitech support Windows 7. Both Freecom and Logitech support Windows 7 just not for legacy products which unfortunately your devices are classed as. I'm sure that's what you meant but it's worth reiterating in case someone sees your comment as assumes no Logitech/Freeco...
