Re: Axarquia micr climate

I live in a place called Los Valverdes. This translates to 'green valleys' and is quite true. It is located some 30 mins inland from Torre del Mar in the Axarquia east of Malaga. It is just outside the town of Velez Malaga. We are 1000ft above sea level so the weather is a degree or 2 colder than on...

Humax Box and USBs

I have a Kingston Datatraveller USB memory stick of 16GB. I have previously used it to copy files off my Humax PVR box. However when I now insert it I get a message which reads something like 'Cannot read the USB device - please reformat as either EXT3 or FAT32 using your PC'. I can read the files O...

Re: Spanish CGT on property outside Spain

The question of your domicile is not relevant if you become tax resident in Spain. Domicile is a peculiar UK concept which does not apply in Spain. If you are tax resident in Spain then you are liable for tax (including CGT) on your worldwide income/assets. The tax is now 19% on the first €6000 of ...

worms

First off may I say that I am not a gardener. Three years ago my nectarine started fruiting and has continued ever since. However every single fruit that I have picked has a hole on the outside and a black mess with worm(s) present on the inside. We have not been able to eat a single fruit yet. I ov...

Re: Seedless Grapes..

I bought some seedless grape plants a few years ago. I cannot remember where from. They have grown very well and produce large sweet grapes. However - they have seeds!.
I will try the viveros at Viñuela.
