Re: Anyone read a good book lately ?
Hey there, I have just released a book on kindle, soon to be available in paperback too. The name of the book is 'Bloody Hell, What's An Alpaca?' It is about our life here in Andalucia, why we decided to move here, and our decision to breed alpacas. Plus, of course then the shenanigans that ensue :...

Re: any recommended cat couriers to uk
I recently got quotes for flying my cat out here as I thought my son was going off to Oz for some time. The quotes ranged from £750 to £1500. For one cat! And someone had to take her to the airport and I was supplying my own box as she already has an airline approved one - and she has her passport. ...

Re: Correos service
Although no problems with SEUR I must admit I try to use Royal Mail(Parcelforce)/Correos where I can because the parcels do arrive at my 'apartado' and generally in good time. They are also a friendly cheery lot in my local Correos. My postie in the UK is excellent but the courier services there are...

Re: Samsung Galaxy something or other
Thanks Gerry - I will try that. Only bought it in March so the charger shouldn't be beggared yet - or so you would think. Interestingly - or not - I wanted an i-phone but OH said no have the Samsung. He then went and bought himself an HTC! Couldn't work that one out but I guess they all do the same ...

Nothing apart from keeping her in a warm dry place and try and restrict her movement. She really needs to see the vet.

Samsung Galaxy something or other
Hi - hoping you 'techie' guys (or gals) can help me I have the above phone - think it is the S2 (can't remember where the box is). When I am away I tend to charge the phone through the laptop and as a result it will not now charge using the ordinary charger. Have scrolled through all the screens but...

Re: Ryanair cabin allowance
I agree Gerry - nothing there has changed. What I don't understand is why people complain about it. The ticket is cheap. If you add a bag in the hold it is still cheap. If you add a reserved seat and get priority boarding it is still cheap. WTF!

Yes but the postal service isn't always like that. My son posted a package from the UK to my 'apartado' on a Tuesday and I was collecting it on Friday.

Re: Training puppies
Sounds like they are having fun. Well done for taking them on - as Donz says - the teeth do go eventually and your hard work will be well rewarded. The 'post depression' is quite normal - don't worry about it :) Love to see pics when they are grown up. They look a bit like fluffy corgis at the momen...

Re: Training puppies
IMO, a breeder needs to be FULLY educated in their field and know far more about dogs than just how to care for them for 8 weeks. Sadly it is another area that is not regulated but at least very recently starting to be licensed but we'll see just how much of that is followed up. €2000 fine for anyb...

Re: Training puppies
I would never sell two puppies together even though I had people wanting them. Recipe for disaster - especially with terriers! I have 3 dogs and the kitten here and they are one incredibly happy family. But the dogs are 14yrs, 2yrs and 7 months respectively (all females) though the sex doesn't matte...
