Mayo dressing All types of mayonnaise are available here including Hellmans, although I prefer the spanish brands. Canned beers/largers Unless it's specific rare English brands you would be mad to bring those over as they are a fraction of the cost here, 330ml cans of lager are available from 15 ce...

I was shocked to see snow here too this morning  Canillas de Aceituno, we are 500 Metres above sea level but this is the first snow in many many years that's actually fell on the village itself. http://www.nutmegged.co.uk/users/indigo/misc/canillas-snow.jpg All rapidly melting now though :(

Interesting to hear that Bongtrees! So the Post Office (commission free) takes around 1.56 Euros for £1 but the true rate is nowhere near that, if they are selling you Euros it's a completely different price again though, more like 1.38 to the £1 probably. Although Post Office and some others claim ...

Yeah, re-reading your original post it's quite different to my experiences as they asked for money for fuel (in El Ingenio car park near petrol station). It's really bad still though, had someone helped me like that I would have returned it the same day full up and also insisted on buying you a drin...

Massive electric storm in the early hours, power was off from then until 1pm today, and we had a viewing from an agent whilst we had no power this morning and it was raining so you couldn't see any of the nice views, so that was a waste of time

When we first came to Spain we were interesting in buying a plot of land, heard of a plot direct from owner for 20,000 Euros and arranged to view it the next day, when we met him before we even got to the plot he said the price had gone up to 26,000 which we thought was very odd and then when we got...

When we did our own move we didn't do an inventory, didn't know it was a requirement, customs stopped us and we even had a problem with the lock in the back of the transit that prevented them from opening it up to have a look (could only open from inside out) but they were fine with it. Any idea how...

Yeah, I buy the 4 Queso fresh one's sometimes although they are not that fresh in truth as the date on them lasts over a month so they are packed with preservatives, the base from this mix was top notch though.
