Risky, there could be fines on the car so you would need to be able to check that, but also you need to make sure that you have a copy of passport or nie of the last person who owned it in spain. Thanks Martin, that explains why the place close to me who sells humus has water running over it, I thought that was to prevent it catching alight :)

compost heaps

I would like to have a compost heap, but with temperatures reaching high 30's here in the summer I am concerned about the possibility of it catching alight. Should I be concerned?

thanks for your advise, but what paperwork would I need to take to the notary with me eg copy of residencia or original , copy of passport, nota simple etc etc etc :thumbup:

Thanks very much beechcomber, I never had any idea about this, just thought it was like uk, morgage paid and deeds returned. Might have guessed there would be more to it then that. :roll:

Our abogado charges us 30 euros each, no hassle, just a email every year to remind him . Well worth it. :)

hi just come back from a garden centre, 5mins away from icelands, they have 1 metre high buddleias for 9Euros 60. The name of the garden centre is La Vega , and the address is Viejo de Coin 1.5 km . Hope this helps.

I know that some of the hire places are quite expensive, and if they have been in a previous accident are not as safe. My daughter bought one from argos.es for 40 euros and had it sent to me for when they came over to visit.
