Re: Driving Directions from Santander Port
Thank you all for your help. The hotel in Plascencia looks good Cliffs Dad. That might be for us on the way back as I think it is only about 100 odd miles to/from Santander? (Feel free to correct me!) Seems very reasonable too. Want to get further down though, possibly Caceres and have been looking ...

Re: Driving Directions from Santander Port
Many many thanks to you all for your help. Sorry to be a pain but can anyone now suggest hotels about half way down? Really want somewhere with either secure parking or off the main drag. Have trawled through so many sites but not come up with anywhere yet!

Has anyone done this journey recently? If so, which route do you recommend. Would prefer motorway and toll roads as opposed to scenic route. Many thanks.

Well! Here we have it! http://www.cctv.com/program/bizchina/20 ... 8082.shtml China's Spring Airlines says it first initiated the standing ticket concept in the beginning of this year. The carrier only has 13 planes, which are not capable of coping with the surging passenger volume and new flight ro...

Re: Are You travelling Less ?
yes travelling less. But.. Ryanair are looking seriously at putting STOOLS (chairs not the smelly things) into their planes. To get people used to using them there will be lots of free or reduced price seats(?) so we could all travel more frequently. You can get more passengers in using stools inst...
