Re: Wool and Knitting

Getting back to the subject - these people supply quality products and will send to Spain - http://www.blacksheepwools.com/ - sorry if I'm not meant to put that link on here. Not my business but I have bought from them.

Your website is still running - I assume you mean you cannot access emails.

What is your route and timescale?

Need to be careful with your pronunciation when asking for that then

Sorry to lower the tone but couldn't resist.

Re: printer/scanner/copier

I paid £47 for the XL cartridges - 4 of them. Waiting to see how long they last on my HP Officejet 6500A Plus. I don't do vast amounts of printing and would prefer quality over quantity anyway.

Re: Ryanair hold baggage

I am not sure I understand what you are asking. When booking online you just put one hold bag against one person. You choose the weight you want for that one bag. Doesn't matter if the bag contains clothes for you both! I do that all the time for my parents.

A friend of mine was given an electric fly swatter which first of all cuts through the wings before finally killing the fly! Your fan sounds quite innocuous after that :D

I think you will find it is not just Ryanair who do not combine luggage.

Re: Massive queues getting out of Gib

I recently got married at The Dell in the Botanical Gardens in Gib - a lovely warm sunny day and a beautiful ceremony conducted by a real 'colonial'. We then had champagne and nibbles on the terrace of the Rock Hotel - a wonderful afternoon was had by all.

Re: Campo Water

I noticed that using bottled water in the kettle I was having to use Oust almost on a weekly basis because of the build-up of sh*te in it. I now use a Brita to run the bottled water through - and have a clear kettle at last! Shows what they put in bottled water.

Re: Massive queues getting out of Gib

I agree with Katy - a huge amount of history in Gib.

I went there last Tuesday and queued 20 mins to get in and about 10 mins to get out. On the way out the car in front of me and the car behind were pulled over for special attention - both spanish plated.

Re: Brittanny Ferries Cabin

Thank you all for your replies. I put a couple of towels in the roofbox just in case - but no travel kettle :(. In hotel in Valladolid tonight - perhaps tomorrow I can find a Carrefour and buy one. Not looking forward to ferry but I'm sure they have improved since the last time I was on one - probab...

Re: Film Download

Does FILMOUS charge individually for each film download and what are the costs? I see that the web site is registered to an office in Limassol but linked to perhaps server in Russia. Are the films legally authentic ones and not Torrent type ones? Films are 1.50USD. You just add funds to your accoun...

Re: Film Download

Hi Enrique

That's great - thank you. Have that open now so will download and use that.

See no point in paying for software if the free stuff works well. Not going to use it that often but wanted to download some things to watch on the ferry - keep my mind off being on a boat!

Film Download

Buenas dias I have recently joined 'Filmous' on recommendation from a friend. He uses an applemac and when showing me how to download he picked an option 'downthemall' or some such name. I am using a Dell - Windows 7 - and when I click 'download' I do not get the same options. I will have to go thro...

If you buy what you want at the quality and price that is acceptable to you does it really matter whose name is above the door?

Re: landlord protection

Thanks Barry - just read it. It is more to do with amendments and definitely owner orientated. I would however like to see the complete tenancy agreement. There is plenty there about landlords terminating a contract early but I want to see what grounds a tenant has to do the same.
