Another moan (do think hate is a bit strong) why does no-one who delivers goods or works all over the place never have a map or an a-z? My calle is well-established (more than 20 years) although off the beaten track, whenever anyone comes they call for directions and sometimes I have to go out to find them. Only corte inglés seems to know.

Bank charges. High in Britain, exorbitant here. Halifax Banco even wanted to charge to close my non resident account (unless I went in person - which of course I did, anything for a trip down to the coast to see how the other half live).

I find Ibuprofen are a good price, 2.20 euros for a pack of 400g ones (double strength) don't know what they cost in the UK but it seems reasonable here.

How many calories do they consume when they bite you? Would it be enough to be worth encouraging the little buggers? Could you even end up back at a size 10 :D Once the swelling had gone down of course

I don't really 'hate' anything about Spain.

However, I do find the postal service rather inefficient.
For example, my Giro for Unemployment benefit from the DSS went missing recently, as did the SORN declaration for my car.

A couple of phone calls to Newcastle and Swansea soon had the situation sorted. They are so efficient in the UK .

At least I don't have to worry about my car insurance certificate going awol.... it lapsed a couple of years ago.

Beach: You obviously have not used Macom - their training manual includes how to scowl, grunt when spoken to, and dump the change and the bill down in the middle of your shopping while you are trying to get it in the carrier bags.
