Attractions for day out on the coast?
My baby will be one on Monday so I thought it would be a good excuse for a day out but where to go?
He loves animals so i had considered the zoo at Fuengirola but my daughter is going there today on a school trip.
Are there any other animal based attractions that are worth a trip?

where to go
Sea World is great, that's in Benalmadama, has lots of great exhibits and you can walk along a walkway where you can see fish such as shark etc swimming about from the glass fronted walk way, or you have the crocodile park next door to the (forgotten what it is called) where they have lots of water rides!! twister, black hole etc. which is in Torremolinas

Tivoli World is great for all ages, although no animals! Crocodile park is fine, you get to hold a baby croc. Not a huge amount more to do there. Water park next door I have not been to, but perhaps a 1yr old would be far too young. Aquapark where the dolphins/seals etc do their displays was very good.

A great day out not that many people seem to know about is Senda Botanical Gardens and wildlife park just round the back of Churriana. I can't seem to find a website for it. Its a huge place full of walks thru gardens, wooded areas with LOTS of exotic birds, monkeys, zebra, giraffe, reptile houses + much more to name really. Anyone I've ever spoken to has never heard of it, both English and Spanish alike! We spent at least 4 hours walking around the place and didn't see it all.
