Unfortunately it seems we have misplaced our son's libro de familia. I know we have to go back to the Registro Civil in Velez Malaga to obtain another but does anyone have any idea how long this is likely to take? Anyone lost theirs before?

Hi Niki
I unfortunately misplaced our libro de familia last year, we had to go to the local police station to make a denuncia and with this paperwork go to the registry to get another book. In Marbella, they did it there and then and I walked out of the building with said book.
Found the old 1 a month later!!!!!
