Great pics!!!
Question: was this Antequera ....or Accrington??? Not a lot of difference this morning, judging by the BBC!!!!
And how about this for the ultimate in nanny state thinking (in UK of course!!)......from one of the unfortunate news reporters standing by the side of an arctic road in the snow:...'Please, folks, remember to wrap up warm if you're going out.....warm coat, gloves and don't forget a hat'.......I ****ING ASK YOU!!!!
No mate, I'll be off to work in my Bermudas, given the snow and ice........DUH

My favourite for 'non grammar words' of the moment is the Sumerfield advert where the woman says "Nigel bought it me" referring to a new frock. AAaaargh as well

For me it's the " should of" instead of "should have"

Oh and people who say "i was sat on a bus" instead of "sitting". No one says "i was runned down the road". Why the hell do they "sat on a bus"? Get a life, get a grammar...

Some of the examples here are more to do with dialect than wrong grammar don't you think? A lot of Londoners would say should of, and a lot of northerners would say I was sat on a bus  I quite like listening to different dialects and how people say things. I have lots of friends from the North, and the ones from Lancashire always say for example "so, we were sat at table in restaurant, having us dinner" :D

Hi,
Come on girls where is this thread going :?:
I stand on the steps of Mr O'Leary's plane -2c at Stansteed (like the way it comes over at Granada) with the wind chill factor and only one set of steps, what happened to the "straight from the Gate to the plane" :?:
Travel 1200 odd miles due south , leave Granada and drive north into a snow storm, am I dreaming .
On the grammar.....as long as we get it "over the net" and can chat, that's what counts. :|

Keep posting

After 2 mornings of having to defrost the car (too lazy to put the car in the garage, so serves me right) we had a balmy 8.6 degrees at 7.45 this morning.
