Karens Baby has arrived!!!!!!
Re: Karens Baby has arrived!!!!!!
Benji Oliver! Tum-tum-tum Benji Oliver - what a fantastic name? Do you know the kids program? It has a great theme tune. Well done, Karen. Enjoy.

Karen
Just come back to A.com after internet been down at home for about 2 months on an off and had been thinking of you. Congratulations to you both and cannot wait to see pics. How are the dogs coping? I know it can be difficult for them as obviously your time is now aimed at Benjamin.
Lots of Love and hugs

Hi Bluebell - nope, never heard of that program, i must google it.
Hi Chris - thanks for your thoughts. All is going great with Benjamin, still feeding very frequently. I have bad sciatica in one leg unfortunately, and due to breastfeeding, the daily injections i am having are of a very weak dose....9 days later i still feel no improvement, which is a bit frustrating, but hey, I´m spending most of my time sat down feeding anyway, so whats a poorly leg when i have the joys of my little baby boy in my arms!
As for the dogs, they are inquisitive and want to sniff/lick feet so we have to say a strict "leave" quite often.Other than that, they have been very good. They have certainly had to take a back seat these past 2 weeks, but seem none the worse for it. They are still under the table for "droppings" at mealtimes, still get their treats with our morning coffee (tho morning coffee can now sometimes be 4pm), and still have daily (rather than hourly) strokes. All in all, its going well.
Glad you´ve got your internet fixed. Drop me a PM with your email address and ´ll email you some pics.
Take Care

Oh he's gorgeous, enjoy each day as they grow up so quickly but as they grow there is always something new to make you smile. As long as the dogs are watched don't worry about the occasional sniff and lick as they need to bond with Benjamin. We often put Georgina on the floor on her blanket and sat down on the floor with her and the dogs so we could pet them whilst Georgina was kicking and cooing so that they got use to her and did not feel that they were being left out of the family circle. Take care hope you are getting some sleep

Thanks everyone for your comments. He´s now just over a month old and is changing daily! Really keeps us on our toes and we´re loving every minute of it! He´just had his nanny out, for the week, spoiling him. My mum had so many good tips for me. He now loves bathtime after my mum showed me how to hold him so he felt secure!
I have been keeping up with goings on, on here as much as i can, but mostly can only read and not participate (thank goodness i hear some say ), due to practically feeding every minute of the day (and night)!!

Great to hear all is going well with Benjamin. After a while you will be wading in to some topic that you can't resist.
