Using Nationwide cards will no longer be free
Using Nationwide cards will no longer be free
Just read that using Nationwide debit and credit cards abroad will no longer be free.

For the moment they will still be free in Spain and most of the EU.

Hi
I notice the link said "Credit card"; so I went onto "Current Account" and it boasted about no fees for its Debit account - however there is no protection for debit cards

Dave, charges apply to debit and credit cards the website is out of date under the current account bit, if you use the foreign transaction section it states it applies to debit cards from a slightly later date.

It stil suggests to me that using a debit card to withdraw cash in Spain(not some other countries) is free and I don't think I have had any specific letter from them to tell me otherwise. The exchange rate has been one of the best for years and the card has been recommended many times.
