Did you see the dreadful interview at lunchtime? With a school friend of the 12 year old, saying to camera, in front of her, that she had last seen her friend 6 days ago, the incubation period was 7 days and then turned to her with genuine companssion (my ****) and asked

"so do you have a sniffle, cough or sore throat yet?"

Talking about persuading the poor girl to catch the ´flu, but then I guess it would make great TV....!!!!!

Porky pies will be banned soon Chrissie, but it is a great diversion, maybe swine flu does not even really exist, its just a new flu strain (don´t we get them all the time?) and they all concocted up this plan to divert our attention or feel pleased we are poor, in ruins, corrupt and amoral politicians "ruling" us, but healthy.........

It's working too - mass paranoia is setting in - we'll all have to be locked up (or is that quarantined?)

Jool as you say, flu is around all the time, some months more than others. Maybe it has been around for a while. If anyone had visited the Doctors before this they would have sent you home saying you had a virus and take some paracetamol! No-one ever was tested for the strain. Was only when people started dying in Mexico that the media got hold of it. Feel sorry for Mexico really, their tourist trade will be decimated (except for the guy in a shop in Cozumel that wanted $20 for 4 postcards  )

Well they've just said a person confirmed as having this swine flu in the UK is improving after 3 days and now just has the sniffles FFS.......improving after 3 days?

3 weeks I was down with ordinary flu a few years back and still don't feel like I've recovered

They're becoming totally brainwashed by this now and have confirmed Snotland Yard are now questioning people who even dare clear their throats in public
