Why are the Spanish so relaxed? never rush to do anything? Until the moment they get into a car, then they want to get to their destination as quickly as humanly possible

I think it must be that they hate driving and want to get it over with as quickly as possible. Conversely, they love the paseo and take it very slowly ...

Followed someone through town the other day at 15MPH, no traffic in front ,and everyone behind, not a single horn was sounded

I once worked with a Spanish guy who actually believed that the faster you drive on the N-340 the better as it means you aren't driving on it for as long because it can be a dangerous road!
