Postby marios » Fri Jan 08, 2010 1:04 pm

Cant seem to find any posts on the search button, usually use Record but there cars are getting really shoddy and they did not offer full/full last time so who does the full/full option.

Yes, you have to up to the roundabout. go right the way round then turn right into the service road that runs alongside the road on which you will have approached the roundabout.

I assume you will approach the airport on the main approach road with the San Miguel factory on your left. Helle Hollis is on the service road on the right opposite the San Miguel factory. If you could do a sharp right hand 'U' turn at the roundabout back down the service road Helle Hollos would then be on your left. You can't do that so you have to go all the way round the roundabout past the entrance you just came in on then turn right down the service road.

Just had 5 days hire from Auriga Crown through Doyouspain Full/Full 60 euros. Typical, when we filled up before returning to the airport the tank was nearly empty, we saved 10 euros on what they had provisionally charged us though.

I've had mixed results with Auriga Crown. Renting from them (for a week) from Murcia airport, they do the full-out, empty-back scam (and with the tank-full they insist you buy from them being overpriced). However on a recent week long visit, flying into Granada the office there was full-out/full-in (despite the Ts & C's being FO/EB).

If you are picking up the car after flying into Malaga, Helle Hollis have a desk in the arrivals hall, down the ramp. Unless that has changed of course.

When you come out of arrivals turn right outside door and go 30m to the pick up point where all the car rental companies pick up. Helle Hollis have just introduced a new system to track the mini bus from their office (2 minutes from terminal) so you can see the bus all the time on a big lcd tv 8) . I bet the driver is not as pleased as we are  . I booked 11 cars from them last year and never had one problem. Everything went to plan everytime.

I used Auriga Crown in November for 7 days and they gave me full/full fuel option which i took. They also take a deposit using a credit card (which i was charged for) and they then refunded it (which i was charged for). I booked recently with Doyouspain for the coming week and then cancelled as i booked with Holiday autos as they had a sale on - through to October (i think) pretty good deals. Doyouspain contacted me to find out why i cancelled, i explained that i didn't agree with their fuel policy - full/empty. They then offered me full/full fuel, a weeks rental for 72 euro. This is from Malaga airport.

Just for info - AurigaCrown are in Administration (Administrator appointed by the courts) - this doesn't seem to be widely known

Could someone clarify that they are still operational? I fly out at 22:00 on Sunday and could do without any hassle...
