KitKat promotion ?

We bought some multipacks of KitKat bars from Eroski last week, and they had a promotion on them, where each packet has a number and you log on to www.tomateunKITKAT.es to check if you're a winner. When I tried this, I was told 'forbidden access', so I tried Nestle espana's site and looked at 'todos promiciones' - no mention of a KitKat one !

Anyone know anything about this ?

The promotion ran during spring/summer last year and has now finished. There should be some dates on the packaging reflecting this.

Hasta finales de agosto del 2010, las chocolatinas Kit Kat llevarán un código en su envoltorio que, al introducirlo en www.tomateunkitkat.es nos dará acceso a más de 100.000 premios, entre ellos dejar de pagar la factura de Pepephone durante un año (hasta 40 euros al mes), recargas de 5’8 euros (a descontar de la factura en el caso de líneas de contrato), o entrar en sorteos de viajes, vuelos, etc.

Para acceder a esta tarifa, primero hay que introducir el código en www.tomateunkitkat.es, y una vez registrado en dicha página, ir a www.pepephone.com/kitkat y volver a introducir el código. Una buena ocasión de afrontar la crisis llamando más barato, siempre que encaje con nuestro perfil de consumo.

yes, we thought of that (and saw the bit on the website), but the packaging gives dates as valid from 1.1.2011 to 30.6.2011 .....

I have just opened the link Chrissiehope and it shows the 2011 dates you quoted so must be a new promotion

Ive just tried it and its not opening for me - error 403.2 Forbiden - read access required

That is most peculiar - it won't open for me today Martin but I definitely got into it yesterday. All in nice red and white kitkat colours showing the promotion and requesting you to register to check your numbers.

It was working fine this morning, but I was too busy to register so I left the page open. Coming back to it this evening, the page needed refreshing, and now it's all funny - little boxes and grotty text !! I'll try again later.

Only in Spain would they have a promocion website that isn't up & runnung by the start date....

Only in Spain would they have a promocion website that isn't up & runnung by the start date....

That way they don't have to give out too many prizes !
